Bible verse close to the heart: "...but God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise". --1 Cor 1:27
Believing that encouragement can be found in everyday moments, Bridgette writes with that perspective in mind. She loves creating teachable moments, whether it’s in children’s stories, homeschool curriculum, or with inspirational books and studies for adults.Â
Â
Having loved to write for as long as she can remember, Bridgette loves anything having to do with words; reading, writing, teaching, and yes –talking! Bridgette homeschooled all three of her daughters from the beginning to the end of their school years. During that time, she spent many years not only teaching her own children, but others as well, in group situations. This experience gave her the opportunity to write her own curriculum for groups on subjects that varied all the way from World History for high school students down to Middle School Literature, even creating a girls’ health curriculum which she called Women of Valor: Total Health in Spirit, Soul, and Body. Creating a Scope and Sequence, tests, and quizzes –all tailored for differing age levels and abilities at the same time – helped Bridgette hone her writing so she could speak to the individual and help them feel accepted and unique. Read any of her books, studies or blog posts today and you will sense her desire to bring hope to a hurting world –one story, one study, one conversation at a time.

A native Delawarean, Bridgette and her husband, Don, now live in Georgetown, Delaware, surrounded by family, endless cups of tea, and a few chickens and ducks…okay, maybe more than a few!Â
